MTS SOFTWARE DEVELOPER – GPU Libraries The Role AMD is looking for a motivated software developer who is passionate about improving AI software solutions. You will be a member of the ROCm GPU software team comprised of incredibly talented industry specialists and will work with the very latest hardware and software technology. The Person The ideal candidate should be passionate about software engineering, computational libraries, performance and possess skills to drive advanced issues to resolution. Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD. Key Responsibilities Develop software modules in C++, Python, HIP, assembly to enable key mathematical software for datacenter GPU systems Develop and improve software methodologies, programs and scripts to integrate variety of features, optimizations and tunings in production libraries. Identify and help resolve feature and performance issues by working closely with other libraries’ development teams and internal engineering groups. Stay informed of software and hardware developments, especially pertaining to latest software methodologies and hardware architecture, and help enhance libraries in ROCm. Preferred Skills/Experience Proficient in C/C++ & Python programming employing best software design practices GPU software development involving HIP, CUDA, or OpenCL Advanced use of AI agents & tools to accelerate development and SDLC Experience with agile software development practices Experience in software design, debugging, and performance evaluations Ability to closely interact with software technical leads, program managers, and interface with hardware teams Academic Credentials Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance. Requirements

Requires proficiency in C/C++ and Python with experience in GPU development using HIP, CUDA, or OpenCL. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is expected.
