Job Description On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Business Solutions Manager to support a strategic procurement and contract management modernization initiative. The engagement will focus on end-to-end process analysis, requirements definition, solution fit-gap assessment, and alignment of business, data, integration, security, and enterprise architecture requirements to support the selection of a best-fit platform. Deliverables ▪ Lead discovery workshops with Procurement, Contract Management, Legal, Finance, Privacy, Security, IT, and business stakeholders to document current-state processes, pain points, controls, and future-state needs. ▪ Elicit, analyze, prioritize, and document detailed business, functional, reporting, data, integration, security, records-management, and non-functional requirements. ▪ Conduct and document a structured fit-gap assessment of shortlisted solutions, including Ivalua, Bonfire, and Oracle Fusion, against business requirements and enterprise technology standards. ▪ Produce decision-ready findings, traceability matrices, risks, dependencies, solution options, and recommendations to support solution selection and subsequent business-case and implementation planning. Required Work Experience ▪ Demonstrated senior-level experience leading complex business analysis or business solution assessment assignments involving multiple business functions and stakeholder groups. ▪ Experience gathering and documenting requirements for procurement, strategic sourcing, contract lifecycle management, supplier management, or comparable enterprise workflow solutions. ▪ Experience conducting software fit-gap assessments, options analyses, vendor demonstrations, or commercial off-the-shelf solution evaluations. ▪ Experience analyzing end-to-end business processes, designing future-state workflows, and translating business needs into functional and non-functional requirements. ▪ Experience working with enterprise architects and technical teams to assess integrations, data, security, privacy, access controls, reporting, auditability, and records-retention requirements. Required Technical Skills And/or Qualifications ▪ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. ▪ Professional business analysis certification, such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA, is preferred. ▪ Procurement, supply-chain, or contract-management certification, such as SCMP, CPSM, or an equivalent designation, is considered an asset. ▪ Knowledge of public-sector procurement, competitive sourcing, delegated authority, privacy, security, audit, and records-management requirements is considered an asset. Skills ▪ Advanced requirements elicitation, analysis, facilitation, process mapping, use-case development, and requirements traceability skills. ▪ Strong understanding of procurement and contract-management processes, including sourcing intake, RFx events, bid evaluation, approvals, award, contract administration, amendments, renewals, and supplier performance. ▪ Ability to evaluate configurable enterprise platforms against business requirements, identify gaps and workarounds, and clearly communicate business and implementation implications. ▪ Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear findings, risks, options, and recommendations. ▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate cross-functional workshops and prepare concise materials for business and executive decision-makers. Requirements

Candidates should have strong requirements, process, and fit-gap assessment skills, experience collaborating with enterprise architecture and technical teams, and a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; business analysis certification is preferred.
