Hospital Health Data Governance Lead (AI Training) About The Role What if your expertise in hospital data governance could directly shape how AI understands, interprets, and works with healthcare information at scale? We're looking for experienced Health Data Governance Leads to help build and validate AI systems that interact with clinical and operational health data — ensuring accuracy, trust, compliance, and real-world utility. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for seasoned healthcare data professionals. You'll bring your deep knowledge of clinical data systems, regulatory frameworks, and cross-functional governance to one of the most consequential applications of AI today. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Apply your healthcare data governance expertise to evaluate and improve AI outputs related to clinical and operational health data Define and assess governance standards for data accuracy, consistency, security, and compliance in AI-generated healthcare content Review AI-produced frameworks, workflows, and documentation for alignment with real-world clinical, regulatory, and administrative requirements Identify gaps, errors, or compliance risks in AI outputs — including issues related to HIPAA and other healthcare privacy standards Provide structured, expert feedback that directly informs how AI models handle sensitive health data Collaborate asynchronously across clinical, technical, and compliance contexts — fully on your own schedule Who You Are Experienced in healthcare data governance, clinical data management, or health information operations Strong working knowledge of healthcare privacy and regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA Skilled at working across clinical, IT, compliance, and administrative domains Able to evaluate data policies, workflows, and governance controls with a critical, expert eye Detail-oriented, methodical, and comfortable delivering structured written feedback Self-motivated and reliable when working independently in a remote environment Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows Background in health informatics, clinical data operations, or enterprise data strategy Familiarity with EHR systems, healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), or population health data Prior work with compliance auditing, data stewardship, or governance framework design Why Join Us Work at the cutting edge of AI development alongside leading research labs Fully remote and flexible — structure your work around your life, not the other way around Freelance autonomy with meaningful, high-skilled task-based work Apply your domain expertise to AI projects with real-world healthcare impact Exposure to large-scale health data systems and next-generation model training Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
