Threat Intelligence Analyst (AI Training) About The Role We partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, more capable AI systems — and we need real security expertise to do it. As a Threat Intelligence Analyst, you'll bring your hands-on knowledge of adversary behavior, threat campaigns, and CTI workflows to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. This is a unique opportunity to apply your cybersecurity skills in a new frontier: shaping how AI understands, analyzes, and communicates about real-world threats. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze and classify threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attacker behavior patterns Evaluate indicators of compromise, TTPs, and end-to-end attack narratives for accuracy and realism Generate, structure, and validate threat intelligence data used to train and assess AI systems Review AI-generated security outputs and flag inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or unrealistic content Apply your expertise to help AI distinguish genuine attacker behavior from noise or fabricated scenarios Who You Are 2+ years of experience in threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or security research Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT collection methods, or CTI workflows Strong ability to evaluate the authenticity and quality of threat reporting Sharp analytical mindset with excellent written communication skills Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently Nice to Have Experience producing or consuming finished intelligence reports Familiarity with threat actor tracking, malware analysis, or incident response Background in red team operations or penetration testing Prior experience in AI evaluation or data annotation workflows Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems at the cutting edge of cybersecurity and machine learning Fully remote and flexible — complete tasks on your own schedule Freelance autonomy with the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, high-impact work Collaborate with a global network of domain experts and AI researchers Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as projects evolve

What you’ll do

Requirements

Applicants need at least two years of experience in threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or security research, along with familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT, or CTI workflows. They should be able to assess threat reporting quality and bring strong analytical, written communication, and independent working skills.
