Role Description Looking for full-time and part-time subcontractor delivery drivers for Edmonton and surrounding areas. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups within assigned routes. Daily tasks include loading and unloading freight, verifying documentation, handling packages with care, and following all transportation regulations and company safety guidelines. The role involves interacting with customers at delivery locations, providing courteous service, and communicating any delays or issues to dispatch. The Delivery Driver also maintains vehicle cleanliness, performs basic inspections, and reports maintenance needs. Qualifications Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with clients and team members. SUV or Van preferred. Valid Class 5 driver’s license (or provincial equivalent) with a clean driving record and strong knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations. Ability to lift and move packages of varying weights and to work in varying weather conditions. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow route plans, delivery schedules, and dispatch instructions with minimal supervision. Previous experience in delivery, courier, or logistics environments is preferred but not required.
