We are currently looking for a Bindery Production Coordinator who will work directly with our Bindery Manager on machine assignments, production scheduling, and daily production performance — with a clear path to broader production planning responsibility as the role grows. Position Overview Location: Mississauga, ON (on-site) Position: Bindery Production Coordinator Type: Permanent/full-time, onsite, Monday to Thursday 6am – 4pm. Key Responsibilities Prepare drafts of technician/operator machine assignments for Bindery Manager approval Distribute assignments to Lead Hands and work with Leads to resolve discrepancies Ensure jobs and equipment are properly staged to minimize production downtime Review and correct production data daily, including press data when required Report out-of-target performance to the Bindery Manager and, where appropriate, the Press Manager Assist with production scheduling in collaboration with the Bindery Manager Review time and attendance for the hourly team to ensure payroll accuracy Oversee material supply inventory — trays, boxes, glue, shrink-wrap, and other supporting materials Other related duties as assigned Qualifications 5+ years of production experience in bindery, print finishing, or a similar manufacturing environment Hands-on knowledge of finishing/converting equipment and production workflow Strong numerical aptitude — quick, accurate mental calculations Demonstrated problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-moving production environment Hiring Range Starting range between $50,000 - $60,000, contingent on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
