Our client is seeking a strategic and consultative Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), to support executive-level leaders across corporate functions and global investments. This role plays a critical part in shaping and delivering people strategies that align with the organization’s vision and business objectives. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, you will partner directly with senior executives (VP, SVP, EVP) to provide high-impact HR leadership across complex portfolios, influencing organizational effectiveness, talent outcomes, and business performance. Compensation: $150,000 - $165,000 base + bonus Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic HR guidance across workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, compensation, organizational design, and engagement. Deliver coordinated, end-to-end HR support to assigned client groups, ensuring seamless service and execution. Elevate leadership capability by coaching and advising senior leaders on people strategy, performance, and talent development. Provide counsel on employee engagement, culture, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. Partner with Employee Relations on complex and escalated matters, ensuring effective and timely resolution. Identify trends and themes across client groups and develop proactive strategies to mitigate risk and enhance performance. Lead and execute annual HR processes, including performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, and engagement action planning. Drive and support HR projects and enterprise initiatives in collaboration with HR Centers of Expertise (COEs). Contribute to cross-functional HR forums, sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field. Significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting complex corporate environments in the financial/insurance industry. Proven ability to operate at a strategic level, translating business priorities into effective people solutions. Strong experience coaching and influencing senior leaders and developing leadership capability. Deep expertise in employee relations, including complex issue resolution. Broad HR knowledge across multiple disciplines, with the ability to apply insights pragmatically. Demonstrated strength in project management and leading change initiatives. Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to business outcomes. Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
