Job details
Our client, a growing Canadian consumer-packaged goods company, is seeking a commercially minded Senior Marketing Manager to lead brand, digital and e-commerce growth. This is a remote opportunity. This is not solely a communications or content position. The successful candidate will have hands-on e-commerce experience and understand how to turn digital traffic, strong merchandising and consumer insights into measurable sales growth. Experience in CPG, food and beverage, health and wellness, or another product-based consumer business is strongly preferred. The preference is for the selected candidate to live in Saskatoon, but the candidate can work remotely as long as they are able to travel. Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Brand and Innovation Officer, you will: Own performance across Shopify, Amazon and retail e-commerce platforms. Improve traffic, conversion, average order value, repeat purchases and online revenue. Manage product listings, digital merchandising, promotions, pricing and content optimization. Develop integrated marketing plans that increase brand awareness, trial and consumer loyalty. Lead digital campaigns across paid media, email, SEO/SEM and social channels. Partner with Sales, Innovation and Operations to launch new products and support retail growth. Develop shopper-marketing programs, customer presentations, sampling initiatives and experiential events. Manage marketing budgets, monitor KPIs and use performance data to guide decisions. Coordinate agencies, freelancers and internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time and on brand. Qualifications You combine strong brand instincts with e-commerce expertise and commercial discipline. You care about excellent creative work, but you are equally comfortable analyzing conversion rates, online revenue, promotional performance and return on investment. This is a hands-on position. Five or more years of progressive marketing experience in a consumer brand or product-based business. Direct, hands-on responsibility for managing and growing e-commerce sales. Experience with Shopify and/or Amazon Seller Central. Knowledge of paid digital media, SEO/SEM, email marketing and conversion optimization. Experience launching new products and developing integrated go-to-market campaigns. Strong analytical, project-management and cross-functional leadership skills. Experience in CPG, food and beverage, grocery, health and wellness, or natural products is strongly preferred. Familiarity with platforms such as Klaviyo, Meta, Google, Instacart and Amazon Advertising is an asset. You are collaborative, curious and highly accountable. You enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment, can move comfortably between strategy and execution, and are willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done. Why This Company? This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of the marketing and e-commerce strategy for a growing, purpose-driven Canadian brand. You will join a collaborative and entrepreneurial team that values creativity, continuous learning and practical problem-solving. You will have the opportunity to influence brand direction, accelerate digital growth, bring new products to market and help connect consumers with high-quality Canadian food products and the people who produce them. At Aplin — together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems — we connect great people with great organizations across North America. We believe diverse teams build stronger companies, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We use AI tools to assist in a fair and efficient matching process, helping our recruiters connect the right people with the right opportunities.
