As a General Utility Worker on our team at Subway (Thompson Rivers University) you?ll take on the important task of customer service, building sandwiches wraps and salads for our guests. Job Responsibilities Maintain courteous and professional conduct at all times with guests, staff, and management Have a complete knowledge and understanding of ARAMARK and Subway policies and procedures Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and responding to inquiries in a friendly and professional manner Accurately take guest orders and process transactions Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and guest specifications Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met Maintain cleanliness and organization of all workstations, customer areas, equipment, and storage areas Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements regarding food handling Assist with stocking, inventory rotation, and replenishment of products and supplies Support fellow team members to ensure efficient daily operations Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties as assigned Promote a welcoming and positive environment for all guests At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. Qualifications Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills Must be flexible and able to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food service environment Ability to prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to Subway standards Basic cash handling and point-of-sale experience preferred Food Safe certification preferred Friendly attitude and commitment to excellent customer service Ability to work independently and as part of a team Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to uniform standards This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
