Job Description The Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board is currently seeking General Utility Workers to join the food services teams at Laval Junior Academy and Rosemere High School. Position: General Utility Worker Location: Laval Junior Academy (2323 Daniel Johnson Blvd., Laval, QC H7T 1H8) Schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (According to the school calendar) Location: Rosemere High School (530 Northcote Road, Rosemere, QC J7A 1Y2) Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (According to the school calendar) Hourly Rate: $17.25 Position: Lead General Utility Worker Location: Laval Junior Academy (2323 Daniel Johnson Blvd., Laval, QC H7T 1H8) Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (According to the school calendar) Hourly Rate: $19.00 Start Date: Immediate Job Responsibilities Greet customers and provide excellent customer service Operate the cash register Assist with general kitchen preparation (cookies, packaging products, etc.) Perform food station setup and preparation Restock shelves and refrigerators Clean service and dining areas Assist with dishwashing duties Follow all established safety procedures and regulations Perform other related duties as required Qualifications Customer service experience Strong organizational skills Positive attitude Ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to work independently Customer-focused approach Ability to work with minimal supervision Benefits Of Working For Aramark Medical and life insurance Employee referral program Employee recognition program Paid sick days Training and development opportunities Career advancement opportunities Uniforms and meals provided Background Check Requirement The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal background check and, where required, a Vulnerable Sector Check.
