Job Description Aramark is Seeking a Cook for the Food Service Operation at Résidence l’Amitié in Montréal POSITION : Cook LOCATION : Résidence l’Amitié (9167 Gouin Boulevard, Montréal, QC H4K 2E2) SALARY : $25.00/hour SCHEDULE / HOURS: To be discussed during the interview. Must be available from Thursday to Sunday. Full-time position. START DATE: ImmediatelyJob Responsibilities Assist the Chef in the preparation of the daily menu Cook and finish menu items Participating in meal service Catering preparation experience is an asset Demonstrate creativity while meeting client requirements Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction Optimize food and labor costs Ensure the implementation of programs related to management, health, food hygiene, and food safety Monitor and maintain service quality and customer satisfaction Participate in the monthly inventory Qualifications 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is an asset Strong leadership skills Demonstrate diligence and a methodical approach in daily work MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certificate is an asset Ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to work independently Positive attitude Customer service oriented Bilingualism is an asset, as some of our customers are English-speaking BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR ARAMARK Medical and life insurance Dental insurance Employee referral program Recognition program Training and development opportunities Safe work environment Career advancement opportunities Uniforms and meals provided The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, where required, a vulnerable sector screening.
