JOB DESCRIPTION Aramark is Hiring a General Helper / Barista for the LLC Café at Bishop’s University Position: General Helper – Barista Location: Bishop’s University (2600 College Street, Sherbrooke, QC J1M 1Z7) Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: To be discussed during the interview. This is a part-time position for the summer and will become full-time in the fall. Start Date: Immediate JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare quality beverages, brewed coffee, and food items for customers by following established recipes and standards * Provide exceptional customer service, always placing the customer first * Operate the cash register * Setting up workstations and service areas * Preparing sandwiches * Rotate food products according to established procedures * Restock refrigerators * Clean service areas * Follow all established safety regulations * Respond effectively to operational needs * Perform any other related duties as required QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum of 2 to 3 years of café experience is considered an asset * Ability to learn quickly * Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and seek clarification when necessary * Strong interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Relationship-building skills * Strong organizational skills * Positive attitude * Ability to work with minimal supervision * Customer service oriented Bilingualism is an asset, as some of our customers are English-speaking Benefits of Working for Aramark * Medical and life insurance * Dental insurance * Employee referral program * Employee recognition program * Annual paid sick days * Training and development opportunities * Career advancement opportunities * Uniforms and meals provided The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, where applicable, a vulnerable sector screening.
