Job Posting: 26-102-(2) PRIMARY CARE PARAMEDICS-SYLVAN LAKE-TFT-12 HOUR CAR Location: Sylvan Lake, Alberta Position Type: Permanent Full-Time (12 Hour) Position Start date: ASAP Opportunity Summary Associated Ambulance is currently accepting expressions of interest for a Permanent Full-Time Primary Care Paramedics for two (2) positions based in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. As the second-largest ambulance operator in the province, Associated Ambulance has proudly served Albertans for over 40 years, delivering both Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) services across 24 rural communities. This permanent position operates on a 12 hour schedule, with a rotation of four (4) days on of two (2) days and two (2) nights, followed by four (4) days off. Qualifications & Requirements Completion of an accredited Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) program. Active registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACoP) as a PCP. Current Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP) certification. Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator’s License with a clean driving abstract (abstract must show no serious traffic safety violations and will be requested). Successful completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) within six (6) months prior to the start date. Ability to commit fully to the full-time schedule—please disclose any potential conflicts in your Expression of Interest (EOI). Requirements
Applicants must have completed an accredited Primary Care Paramedic program, hold active PCP registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics, and have current BLS-HCP certification. They must also hold a valid Alberta Class 4 operator’s license with a clean driving abstract, complete the F.A.R.E. evaluation within six months before starting, and be able to commit to the full-time schedule.
