QA Guidewire Functional Tester Role Description Experience Required: 6–8 years Key Responsibilities Lead planning, estimation, execution, defect management, reporting, and release readiness for Guidewire P&C initiatives. Drive testing across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, ContactManager, and core insurance workflows. Validate quote, bind, policy change, renewal, cancellation, billing, claims, documents, and customer updates. Lead REST/SOAP API and integration testing for payloads, mappings, authentication, errors, and downstream impacts. Coordinate SIT, E2E, regression, UAT support, production checkout, defect triage, and status reporting. Identify automation opportunities for functional, regression, and API coverage. Required Skills 8+ years of QA testing experience, including test lead ownership. 5+ years of Guidewire testing, preferably PolicyCenter plus BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or ContactManager. Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain knowledge across Personal and/or Commercial Lines. Experience in functional, integration, API, regression, E2E, UAT, and production validation testing. Experience with Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, SQL, Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, and Agile. Preferred Skills Guidewire certification. Guidewire Cloud, upgrade/migration, and implementation experience. GTF, GT API, or GT:UI experience. Selenium, REST Assured, Java, Python, Jenkins, Git, and data reconciliation. Knowledge of rating, underwriting, billing, claims, and regulatory workflows. Requirements

Requires 8+ years of QA testing experience, including test lead ownership, and 5+ years of Guidewire testing experience. Candidates should have strong P&C insurance knowledge and experience with functional, integration, API, regression, end-to-end, UAT, and production validation testing, along with relevant testing tools and platforms.
