Company Description August 8 was originally established in 2008, when its first location opened in downtown Hamilton, Ontario. As a new concept of dining, it was recognized as the first restaurant of its kind in the area to bring the finest aspects of both Cantonese-style dim sum & Japanese cuisine. Job brief Reporting to the senior management team, this position requires an independent and self-motivated individual with a drive to succeed. This individual would be responsible for assisting in all aspects of administrative duties, from accounting and supply chain management. A general business management degree/diploma is strongly preferred. Core Responsibilities * Administer company policies and protocols in response to changes. * Assisting in genearl invoice entry, supply chain management duties * Other administrative duties as assigned. Job Terms • Job Type: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week on average, modifications according to business needs • Probationary Period: 3-month • Work Location: Burlington, ON (On-Site) • Shift Requirement: Mondays to Fridays, daytime. • Compensation: $40,000-50,000 per year • Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of the probationary period Requirements • Details oriented. / Must have business related diploma or degree • Excellent communication skills both in speaking and writing Mandarin and English * An accounting background is an asset
