As a Chemistry Intern, you will be responsible for: Collaborating alongside experienced chemistry professionals and cross functional team members to provide field chemical laboratory support. Assisting with analytical testing using laboratory instrumentation such as ICP, IC, GC and other techniques as applicable. Recording experimental data, observations, and test results accurately in databases and laboratory notebooks. Participating in troubleshooting activities related to laboratory instruments, methods, and analytical results under the guidance of experienced scientists. Assisting with inventory management and laboratory housekeeping to maintain an organized and compliant work environment. Developing a fundamental understanding of oilfield chemistry, analytical testing applications, and the role of laboratory data in customer decision making and product performance. Applying Baker HSE and Quality procedures and policies in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Be currently enrolled in a Bachelors’ or Masters’ level degree in Chemistry and have completed at least 2 full semesters of wet laboratory course work. Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.00 out of 4.0 or the equivalent. Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills. Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
