Job Summary: We are currently accepting resumes for an experienced Local 5-Ton Driver based from our Terrace, BC terminal, driving for the day shift operating from Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Responsibilities: A typical day in this role includes: * Local pickup and delivery work with a 5 Ton truck equipped with Power Tail Gate. * Loading and unloading trucks and trailers with a forklift as needed * Proactively adhering to a high standard of safety and be safety conscious * Conduct pre-trip inspections * Complete forms and paperwork as required * Completing work & tasks under minimal supervision Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role: * Must have a valid Class 5 licence. Air Brake Endorsement is an asset, but not required. * Must submit a driver's abstract must show no driving-related criminal code convictions in the prior 36 months; no more than 2 moving violations in the prior 12 months; and no more than 3 moving violations in the prior 36 months. Candidates must possess a valid Class 5 driver's licence and have at least 2 years of commercial driving experience. A clean driver's abstract and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are also required.
