This role requires an individual who is organized, effective at multi-tasking and detail oriented, with strong communication and people skills. Depending on experience and knowledge, the core responsibilities of the role will be, but not limited to: Opening and closing files Billing Drafting correspondences Acting as a liaison between client, lawyer and opposing counsel Organizing payouts for foreclosure files Electronic filing of documents Organizing files, binders, client documents and other file related materials Maintaining a bring forward system Organizing the calendar of the assigned lawyer(s), booking appointments, trials and discoveries Tracking and following up on AR Other administrative tasks as required What You Bring To The Table At least 2 years’ of litigation experience Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate from a recognized program Previous administrative experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent computer skills (MS Word and Outlook) Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast paced environment Ability to work independently and in a team environment Compensation The typical salary range for this position is $57,000 - $64,000. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related skills/knowledge, experience, and internal and market equity.
