The Shop Technician is responsible for maintaining facility cleanliness and performing preventive maintenance on RCD equipment. They also assist with shipping, receiving, and day-to-day shop operations under the guidance of the Shop Foreman.

Job Description As the Shop Technician Level 1 you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our facility and equipment maintenance processes. Key Responsibilities Maintain a clean and organized work area. Maintain the upkeep of the facility and yard. Utilizing SiteDocs daily to complete all required forms Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives Assist in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of all RCD related equipment. Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance and repairs of RCD equipment Assist in the shipping and receiving of MPD/RCD equipment. Assist in Receiving on orders from vendors Deliver and/or pick up supplies from vendors. Inspect all RCD equipment used and perform preventive maintenance checks and service. Maintain company issued tools and develop knowledge and skill in their use. Assist Shop Foreman with day-to-day tasks as required. Assist Operations team with RCD equipment maintenance as required. Required Qualifications 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a shop environment. Mechanically inclined and able to implement mechanical knowledge and skills. Required Certifications: Valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract First Aid Fall arrest Forklift Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of maintenance processes and procedures, mechanical tools and equipment Able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines requiring minimal supervision. Organized, dependable and action orientated. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).

Requirements
Candidates must have 1 to 2 years of shop experience and be mechanically inclined. Required certifications include a valid driver's license, First Aid, Fall Arrest, and Forklift certification.
