Contract: August 10, 2026 – August 10, 2027 We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join a public sector technology team supporting the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications and services. Key Responsibilities Translate technical specifications into well-designed, tested, and maintainable applications. Develop and maintain Web Apps, Web APIs, and Web Services. Design, develop, test, debug, document, and troubleshoot applications. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps activities. Work with Azure technologies and cloud-based application environments. Develop solutions using .NET, C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and Azure SQL. Participate in Agile development, including Kanban/task boards and sprint activities. Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts throughout the SDLC. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide post-implementation support. Prepare technical documentation, reports, assessments, and design materials. Participate in design walkthroughs and contribute to application architecture and technical decisions. Must-Have Qualifications Strong experience with Agile methodologies. Hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps. Strong experience developing Web Apps, Web APIs, and Web Services. Experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, REST, OpenAPI, and OAuth2. Strong working knowledge of .NET, C#, and JavaScript. Experience with Entity Framework and Azure SQL. Hands-on experience developing applications using Microsoft Azure technologies. Understanding and practical experience with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud service models. Experience working with large-scale or enterprise applications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Nice to Have Experience working on large government applications. Experience with middleware and gateways. Knowledge of AODA and accessibility standards. Experience with relational databases and query languages. Experience with application deployment, migration, and troubleshooting. Experience conducting technical design walkthroughs. AI-enabled tools may be used to sort applications based on job-related criteria.
