Our client located in downtown Toronto is currently looking for a Career Development Specialist for a 1-year contract. Salary range: $70K-$80K Hybrid work: 3 days per week in office What's in it for you: Excellent salary offered with bonuses Strong health and wellness benefit plan fully funded by the employer RRSP matching & employer contributions 3 weeks paid vacation per year Flexible work hours In this role, you will be responsible for: Lead workforce development and career pathway initiatives Build strategic partner networks for job placements Optimize proprietary job matching platform and employer engagement Deliver professional workshops and networking events Manage professional mentorship program operations Track KPIs and present performance reports Evaluate credentialing and program inquiries Promote career resources across digital and social channels The ideal candidate will/must have: Post-secondary degree/diploma in Career Development, HR, Business, Education, or Social Services 5+ years of experience in career services, relationship management, or engagement initiatives Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) Proactive problem-solving, planning, and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of AI platforms and practical applications in career development Experience with Association Management System (AMS) databases (e.g., iMIS) is an asset Professional certification in HR, coaching, or career development is desirable Send your resume today to be considered for this position.
