About the Role The Adelaide Club is seeking a mature and reliable receptionist to begin onboarding immediately. Our ideal candidate has a professional positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and unique ability to make everyone feel welcome. As our receptionist, you will help to ensure the proper functioning of the club by providing administrative and clerical support to all departments, in addition to providing a high level of customer service to our Members. Major/Specific Responsibilities * Greet and check-in Members & Guests * Maintain awareness of the Front Desk surroundings and be well informed of all comings and goings; never let a member or guest go unattended * Assist with and direct general inquiries while maintaining a high degree of professionalism at all times * Provide administrative and clerical support * Handle multiline phone system * POS credit/debit transactions (we are cashless) * Opening and Closing procedures * Contribute to team and club efforts (e.g., Member events and promotions) * Attend Front Desk team meetings * Facilitate positive, inclusive experiences for Members of all ages, backgrounds, and ability Qualifications/Requirements * Excellent communication skills * Friendly & outgoing personality * Multitasker and problem-solver, calm under pressure * Computer and software proficient * Punctual * Professional personal presentation * Customer centric * Reliable, proactive and with a keen eye for details Benefits: * Employee assistance program * On-site gym that includes 2 strength gyms, a designated cardio gym, 3 squash courts, locker rooms with full amenities, a designated women’s section, and 4 group fitness studios with ongoing group fitness classes * Employee discount (25%) on all Club goods and services * Dress code reimbursement (with annual limit) * Fully furnished staff room with large fridge, microwave, seating Education: * Secondary School Experience: * administrative assistant: 1 year (required) * receptionist: 1 year (required) Shifts Available: Weekdays Monday through Friday, 1pm to 6pm * Minimum 25 hours per week, with opportunity to pick up additional shifts.
