Job Description Salary Range: $38.90 - $46.31 Positon Summary: Part time position to work rotating shifts in Cardiac Diagnostic Unit, including weekend shifts and availability at short notice. The Cardiac Technologist performs cardiac testing, including: Electrocardiograms, Stress Testing, Nuclear Stress testing, Holter hook-ups and scanning. The incumbent has experience in 12 lead arrhythmia interpretation skills. Advanced arrhythmia skills preferred. The Cardiac Technologist has the ability to work efficiently and accurately with Physicians during test procedures and with staff in a team structure. Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change. Qualifications Required: Completion of secondary school or equivalent required. Completion of a recognized Cardiovascular Technologist program required. Member of the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist (CSCT) required. Member of the Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologists (OSCT) required. Experience in ECGs, Cardiac Stress Testing, Holter scanning, and 12 lead arrhythmia interpretation required. Advanced arrhythmia skills are preferred. Current BLSC certification required. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). What you’ll do

The Cardiac Technologist performs various cardiac diagnostic tests including electrocardiograms, stress testing, and Holter monitoring. They work efficiently with physicians and the clinical team to ensure accurate test procedures and patient care.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed a recognized Cardiovascular Technologist program and hold memberships with the CSCT and OSCT. Proficiency in 12-lead arrhythmia interpretation and current BLS certification are required.
