Overview Notre-Dame Hospital in Hearst, Ontario, is seeking a dynamic, benevolent and visionary leader for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, and fostering a culture of excellence, under the guidance of the Board of directors. Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership to guide the hospital in achieving its mission and goals. Collaborate with the board of directors, medical staff, and other stakeholders to develop and implement the strategic plan. Lead and inspire a diverse team of healthcare professionals, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensure efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and patient-centered care. Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, government agencies, and healthcare organizations. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards. Ensure the optimal use of human, financial and material resources. Exercise immediate and assertive action when addressing sensitive matters, ensuring decisions are made promptly, appropriately, and in alignment with organizational policies. Demonstrate sound business judgment in all situations, ensuring decisions prioritize safety, professionalism, fiscal responsibility, and ethical standards. Required Profile First cycle university degree in business administration or commerce or related field. At least five years’ experience in a senior executive role Experience within the healthcare industry is considered an asset. Strong leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Very strong written and spoken communication ability in French and English Knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
