The incumbent ensures the care and comfort of patients as well as routine cleanliness of the clinical work environment. Personal protective equipment (PPE) and training are provided. Qualifications Required: Successful completion of a recognized Nursing Assistant Course (Completion of Health Care Aide and Health Unit Clerk) Basic computer skills Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or ability to obtain same prior to employment Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting and transporting of patients, samples, and equipment to other areas Satisfactory employment record Must be able to legally work in Canada Will Be Assessed During The Interview Process Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Excellent interpersonal, organizational, customer service and problem-solving skills Excellent English comprehension with both written and verbal communication skills Ability to adapt to stressful work situations Preferred Previous experience in ambulatory and/ or inpatient care setting Asset Ability to speak French Interested and qualified applicants are invited to submit a detailed and current resume, plus a cover letter demonstrating how you meet the above qualifications and the above competition number. Requirements
Requires successful completion of a recognized Nursing Assistant course, including Health Care Aide and Health Unit Clerk training, basic computer skills, and current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or the ability to obtain it before employment. Candidates must be able to lift and transport patients, samples, and equipment, have a satisfactory employment record, and be legally eligible to work in Canada; strong communication, teamwork, organization, customer service, problem-solving, and adaptability are assessed during the interview.
