We look forward to serving you and making your dining experience a memorable one. We are looking for an experienced, professional and reliable Line Cook to perform duties outlined below. This is a full-time position, not less than minimum of 30 hours per week, job is non-seasonal, with salary starting from $16.75 per hour. The candidate MUST have 1 or more years of related work experience (e.g. line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook), commensurate with the job posting requirements and qualifications. Line Cook Job Responsibilities Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies. Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift. Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs. Work Hours: Day, Evening, Morning, Night Line Cook Qualifications/Skills Basic written and verbal communication skills Organizational skills Accuracy and speed in executing tasks Ability to work as a team member Follows directions and instructions Ensure to be neat ,professional ,hygienic at all times and meet necessary requirements. Assist other cooks with tasks as needed to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Education And Experience Requirements High school diploma or GED One to two years of restaurant experience and/or a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook. Certificate in Culinary Arts is an asset, but not required. Experience with various cooking methods and procedures. Familiar with restaurant industry best practices also an asset.
