Duties And Responsibilities Responsible for the vision, strategy, planning, public profile, impact and operations of Carleton’s art gallery Qualifications The incumbent must possess the following qualifications: ▪ Knowledge of leadership practices in people management, strategic planning and risk management, policy development, financial management and stakeholder relationship management ▪ Knowledge of Canadian and international art, historic and contemporary ▪ Knowledge of best practices in public and educational programming ▪ Knowledge of funding models and fundraising from public and private sources ▪ Knowledge of marketing and communications planning and execution Education And Experience The above is normally acquired through the completion of: ▪ Completion of a graduate level degree in art history or a related discipline ▪ Minimum of four years of previous experience in the direction, leadership and operations of a public art gallery HR Note Equivalencies will be considered. Requirements
