Preschool Teacher Description St. Agatha Academy, Winchester, KY, is a Catholic PreK-8th grade school. We are looking for a full-time teacher in our preschool classroom. Duties  Stimulates emotional, intellectual, and social growth of students by implementing educational programs and activities tailored to assigned class.  Provides safe environment by maintaining orderly, clean, and appealing facilities; following standards and procedures; complying with legal recommendations.  Encourages development of student self-control by utilizing classroom management and modeling techniques.  Assists students in lunch room.  Ensures continuous care of children as lead teacher Qualifications Experience working with students in educational or childcare settings is preferred. Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques. Ability to supervise and work with young students in the classroom or at play A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others succeed. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff. A commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all individuals High School diploma is required ETRIS certification a must. CMG Connect certification and background check approved. Requirements

A high school diploma and ETRIS certification are required; CMG Connect certification and an approved background check are also specified. Experience in education or childcare is preferred, along with classroom and behavior management skills, the ability to supervise young students, compassion, and strong verbal and written communication.
