CHRISTMAS SHARE WAREHOUSE WORKER 24 HOURS PER WEEK NOVEMBER 2, 2026 TO JANUARY 8, 2027 FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, SOME EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED. POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Christmas Sharing Coordinator, the Christmas Share Warehouse is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory and donation tracking, volunteer support, hamper quality, and warehouse coordination for distribution day. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: * Completion of Grade 12. * Three (3) months related experience. * Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance. * Experience with inventory control, warehouse organization, or donation processing. Experience working with the public. JOB SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Good interpersonal and organizational skills. * Clear communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to organize work and carry out duties of the position with independence. * Ability to work with diverse populations. * Ability to lift 40 pounds KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Lead day-to-day warehouse setup, organization, workflow, and shutdown. 2. Manage inventory, identify shortages, and coordinate packing priorities with the Christmas Sharing Coordinator. 3. Track donations, including donor information, description, estimated value, and movement of goods, using established records and spreadsheets. 4. Oversee sorting, Angel Tree processing, wish-list fulfillment, packing, labelling, and staging of hampers. 5. Review hampers for quality, appropriateness, completeness, and alignment with child-specific wish lists. 6. Coordinate regular donation pickups and deliveries, including assigning volunteers and assisting when required. 7. Maintain confidential and accurate records relating to inventory, and donations. 8. In collaboration with the Christmas Share Coordinator, coordinate warehouse operations on distribution day, including hamper staging, retrieval processes, stocking-stuffer supplies, pickup slips, and resolution of missing or incorrect hampers. 9. Complete post-season inventory, warehouse shutdown, storage organization, and final donation records. 10. Perform other related duties as required. GENERAL: * Wage rate as per BCGEU Collective Agreement, Retail Worker - Grid 5 - $24.34 (Under Review) * This position requires Union membership. * This position is open to all persons. * This position requires successful completion of a criminal record check. * This position reports to the Christmas Sharing Coordinator. * This position is under the Community Relations department.
