Req ID: 64751 Job Category: Ski & Snowboard Job Type: Temporary, Part-time Hourly Rate: $19.44 Number of Positions: Talent pool for future vacancies Start Date: TBD Work Location: Earl Bales Ski & Snowboard Centre District: North York Season: Winter Duration: TBD Shift Information: TBD Division: Parks, Forestry & Recreation Section: PFR CR Community Recreation Posting End Date: 11/01/2026 Responsibilities: * Assists Ski/Snowboard Instructors in conducting Toronto Ski instructional programs. * Assists in providing safe, instruction to program participants. * Adheres to all Policy and Safety guidelines as outlined in Policy and Procedure Manuals. * Interacts with participants, staff, spectators and other community members. * Responds to inquiries regarding participants’ progress at the end of lessons. * Implements and follows program outline. * Takes action to deal with incidents, problems and emergencies and comply with Divisional policies and procedures. * Attends and participates in meetings, clinics and training sessions. Qualifications: * Must be minimum 14 years of age. * Must produce original current Basic First Aid certification as recognized by the WSIB. * You possess certification in Parks and Recreation Ontario's Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD). This is a mandatory course that will be provided to you at no cost upon obtaining a conditional offer of employment. You will be provided with course dates and details at that time.
