CLA is currently seeking a Tax Manager/Director – R&D Tax Credits to join our Federal Tax Strategies (FTS) practice. The FTS practice works with various clients manufacturers and technology companies. There are many opportunities for clients to save money and increase cash flow with various federal tax strategies (FTS) service offerings. How you’ll create opportunities in this Tax Manager/Director – R&D Tax Credits role: Manage research and development (R&D) tax credit studies including client interviews, reviewing client data, developing client and industry specific tools and templates, and preparing technical reports. Assist other R&D Project Managers with the delivery of engagements as needed, including research, and writing with regard to technical and compliance issues. Assist in managing and implementing multiple projects simultaneously, which includes client consultations, analysis, data gathering and coordination of Federal Tax Strategies R&D tax personnel and client resources. Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community. What You Will Need You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with public accounting and/or professional services firm CPA required. JD or Enrolled Agent (EA) may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification Experience in R&D Tax Credits preferred Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and at least 6 years of experience in a tax role within public accounting or professional services. A CPA certification is required, though a JD or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation may be accepted.
