Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Class 1 or 3 Drivers & Operators to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for safely operating, driving, and maintaining various industrial services equipment but not limited to Hydrovac, Vacuum Trucks or High-Pressure units. This is a 21/14 rotation, with the 362 Teamsters Union, full rates starting at $37.17/hour. Why work for Clean Harbors? * Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career. * Health and Safety is our #1 priority and We Live It 3-6-5! * Competitive wages for this permanent full-time position! * Camp accommodation provided and radial travel allowance reimbursement available; * Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment; * Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career; * Positive and safe work environments RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times; * Attends daily safety meetings and ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner; * Drives, operates and stages various units (i.e. High Pressure, or Super B Units); * Performs pre and post trip inspections including maintenance of equipment and general repairs; * Communicates with dispatcher * Works in confined spaces such as vessels and tanks and may transport hazardous goods; * Works as part of a team with Customer, Co-workers & Supervisors. QUALIFICATIONS * Class 1 or 3 Driver’s license required; with the ability to operate a manual transmission up to 18 speeds; * Minimum of one (1) year driving and operating the following units: Hydrovac, Vacuum Trucks or High-Pressure units. * Ability to gain access to job sites in the oilsands region (Suncor, CNOOC, CNRL and others) * Ability to work under minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment; * Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended period. 40-years of sustainability in action.
