What you’ll do: Reporting to the Deli/Bakery Manager. you will be responsible for: * Daily production of baked goods including scale, mix, bake, finish, and decorate in accordance with approved company procedures and standards following standardized formulas * Use of mixer, commercial oven and dishwasher equipment in a safe, responsible manner. * Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner including cleaning and sanitizing. * To consistently ensure sufficient quantity on hand to meet customer needs without producing more than required * Label, date, store and rotate food and beverage products in appropriate storage areas. * Handle product to ensure damaged and markdowns are limited * Thoroughly clean and sanitize all bakery equipment and utensils each day * Housekeeping of department ensuring it is organized, clean, sanitized and provides a safe working environment * Communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments. This position requires a significant amount of standing, frequent and constant lifting, bending, and stretching.
