Reporting to the Meat Team Leader, responsibilities for the position include the following: • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach. • Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels. • Maintain and display all types of meat products according to department standards. • Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory is on the shelf; follow First in, first out (FIFO). • Prepare meat products to Co-op standards, package and label finished products, and maintain production records. • Clean and sanitize meat department equipment and workstations. • Support and follow all Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations and procedures. • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures. • Perform other duties as assigned.
