Hours will vary based on business needs, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible or additional shifts. We are currently looking for someone who is available to work Sundays. The Bell Person will contribute to the overall success of the hotel by anticipating guest needs and providing friendly, efficient, and superior customer service with every guest interaction. The position is responsible for maintaining a positive front-of-house environment while maintaining high internal and external guest service standards at all times. Responsibilities: Provides luggage service upon guests’ arrival and departure and rooms guests in a professional manner Stores luggage for guests accurately and efficiently Delivers morning newspapers and room service orders when there is no room service ambassador available Assists valet attendant(s) with parking guest vehicles Works closely with all members of the Front Desk Team Demonstrates knowledge of hotel group bookings and scheduled events Ensures the cleanliness of the Front Desk, lobby, and driveway area Contributes to a positive guest experience Assists in arranging transportation (taxi, shuttle, tour bus, etc.) for guests Reads the logbook to stay informed of the day’s events Checks for VIP arrivals and delivers VIP amenities as required Provides recommendations to guests on local sights and attractions Other duties as assigned Skills/Knowledge/Experience: Completion of Secondary School Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence – required Clean driver’s abstract indicating a safe driving record Must be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles Outgoing, warm, and friendly personality Familiar with the local area Demonstrates superior customer service Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment Exemplifies Coast’s core values and enjoys working in a culture of accountability Able to work a flexible schedule, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays Sunday availability is particularly important for this position Coast Hotels offers a variety of benefits, including competitive wages & benefits, employee discounts, training & development, career advancement opportunities & more!
