How YOU make a difference Guest Attendants support and deliver on all personalized activities of daily living that meet our resident’s needs. This includes basic living support, personal hygiene, companionship and nutritional support. Guest Attendants are an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team who build trusted relationships with our residents, families and teams with continuous ongoing and effective communication Our Guest Attendants document the completion of tasks on an electronic health record platform throughout their shift and can quickly identify and communicate changes in resident care needs to our clinical leads. What YOU bring * Strong drive, respect and an understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role * Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships * Strong written and oral communication skills * Demonstrated organizational and time management skills * Volunteer/working experience in a Senior Living setting is an asset, not required * Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required * Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one How we recognize YOU * Service recognition * Employee appreciation events * An open and engaging team that welcomes input for new ideas and programs * Cogir is committed to ensuring that all employment practices are inclusive. Candidates must possess strong communication and organizational skills, along with a commitment to teamwork and resident-centered care. A current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification is required, as well as a valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
