Position Details: Industry: Banking/Finance Job Title: Java Developer Location : Mississauga, ON Pay Range: $65 to $80 Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire Job Description We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with 5 to 10+ years of experience in Java development. The candidate should have strong experience building distributed, service-oriented, microservices, and cloud-based applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications. Build scalable microservices and distributed applications. Develop modern applications using Spring Boot. Work with cloud-based architectures. Work with relational databases such as SQL Server. Develop and maintain Linux/Unix shell scripts. Work with message-driven architectures using Kafka and EMS. Troubleshoot application and production issues. Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and business teams. Required Skills 10+ years of Java development experience Strong experience with Spring Boot Strong knowledge of microservices / SOA / distributed architectures Experience with cloud-based architectures Hands-on experience with SQL Server Strong Linux/Unix Shell experience Experience with Kafka and/or EMS Strong problem-solving and communication skills We may use AI-enabled and/or automated tools to support parts of our recruitment process, including application screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
