Career Opportunity Transportation Operations Supervisor Position Summary The Transportation Operations Supervisor is primarily responsible for providing effective transportation services to customers, and manage the department’s resources and work processes cost effectively and efficiently in the attainment of customer service and delivery goals. Location: Ajax, Ontario Schedule: Schedule can vary. Typically works Mon-Fri. What you will do • Supervising and managing drivers and warehouse team including training, development, coaching and performance appraisals in area of responsibility • Scheduling drivers and verification of hours worked • Monitoring service levels to ensure maximum levels of customer satisfaction • Assisting dispatchers and planners in troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day issues and activities • Ensure goals are met and exceeded in the arrears of safety, quality, productivity and people measurement • Promoting Health & Safety guidelines and operational policies and procedures • Participate in recruiting team members for your location.
