Job Description Reporting to the Receiving Supervisor, the Material Handler 2 is responsible for accurate & timely material delivery to production lines and day-to-day receiving department activities, while working closely with both shop floor and receiving department staff. RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive Packing slips Fulfill Kanban orders as required Pick material and deliver all production boards Generate and fill transfers Slab picking Aluminum picking PH tech picking Accurate cycle counting Cardboard recycling and golf cart driving Assist in other areas as needed Maintain cleanliness of working area Deliver product to various areas of the factory as required Qualifications Valid Fork Lift license and previous experience required (1 year). Strong communication, customer service, basic mathematical, and organizational skills. Recognize unsafe conditions or hazards within the work area. Team player with a desire to get the job done correctly and on time. Flexible and willing to learn new functions within the receiving department. Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to accept a high degree of responsibility and work well under pressure. Computer skills are required. Ability to withstand very warm and very cold temperatures. Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a frequent basis and do basic foot to metric calculations.
