At Creston & District Credit Union (CDCU), we are an independent, member-owned financial cooperative serving Creston, British Columbia, and the surrounding communities. Since our founding on July 31, 1951, by 10 local members with $50 in assets, we have grown into a trusted financial partner for the Creston Valley, with assets now exceeding $200 million. As a financial cooperative, CDCU is different from a traditional commercial bank. When individuals and businesses become members, they hold membership shares, meaning they are not just customers — they are owners with a stake in the credit union’s success.
