Location: Scarborough, ON | 2121 Markham Road, M1B 2W3 Starting Rate: $38.26/hour (fixed & non-negotiable) Shift: 8-hour / COP Schedule | All Shifts Required What You'll Do... You’ll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding complex machinery and mechanical equipment. Your day-to-day will include: Installing, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment using blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings Diagnosing mechanical issues through visual, auditory, and operational inspections Dismantling, repairing, and reassembling machinery components Maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping systems Performing preventive maintenance and supporting production changeovers Using ERP systems to maintain accurate maintenance records Collaborating closely with Maintenance, Production, and Plant leadership Following all safety, GMP, food safety, and quality standards What You'll Need... Valid Ontario Industrial Millwright License Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints 2–3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic (preferred Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine tools Ability to pass a technical/mechanical aptitude test Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (lifting, climbing, standing, temperature variation) Schedule & Union Environment This is a unionized position, and union membership is mandatory upon successful completion of the probationary period.
