We're looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR Service Centre team on a 6-month contract. In this role, you'll help ensure employees and leaders across the organization receive timely, accurate, and professional HR support while contributing to a wide range of employee lifecycle activities. As part of a collaborative and fast-moving team, you'll process HR transactions, maintain employee data within Dayforce, administer benefits, support reporting and audits, and respond to employee inquiries. No two days are exactly alike, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, learns quickly, and thrives in a service-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong customer service skills with technical aptitude and attention to detail. Whether you're troubleshooting a system issue, reviewing employee data, supporting a benefits question, or helping a teammate meet a deadline, you'll take a hands-on approach and do what's needed to support the team and deliver a positive employee experience. What You'll Do Process employee lifecycle transactions including new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and organizational changes Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within Dayforce Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR processes, benefits, and employment information Administer benefits enrolments, changes, and terminations Support payroll timelines by ensuring HR transactions are processed accurately and on schedule Generate reports, perform audits, and validate employee data to ensure accuracy and compliance Assist with Dayforce workflows, user access requests, and system troubleshooting Prepare employment letters and support HR Business Partners and HR leaders with administrative activities Create and maintain HR process documentation, user guides, and training materials Support HR projects, process improvements, and other team initiatives as required This is a 6-month contract position and is fully remote within Ontario. Occasional travel to our Mississauga office will be required for team meetings, training, and collaborative sessions. A university or college education in Human Resources Management or a related field. 1 to 3 years of experience supporting HR administration, employee lifecycle processes, or customer-facing business operations. A strong customer service mindset and genuine desire to help employees and business leaders. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems, processes, and technology quickly. Experience working with HRIS platforms, databases, or other business systems. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with reports, data, and spreadsheets. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. A proactive, team-first approach and willingness to jump in wherever support is needed. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment. Experience supporting unionized and non-unionized employee groups is considered an asset.
