Sales Manager, Workforce Solutions Ottawa | Hybrid | Permanent Internal title: Branch Manager - Ottawa About the Role Drake International is hiring a Sales Manager to lead our Ottawa branch. This is a currently available position. The branch is primarily flexible staffing. You will be selling, leading the consultants who sell alongside you, and running the branch. What You'll Do Grow the business Win new clients through local outreach, market presence and steady prospecting Deepen existing accounts, which is where most of the growth in flexible staffing comes from Shape branch level sales strategy against the annual forecast Keep pricing, fee structures and margins where they need to be Watch the trends in your numbers and move early when something shifts Support the sales activity of your Business Development Manager Build Drake's presence and reputation in the Ottawa business community Lead the team Support and develop an established team of Flex Recruitment Consultants Coach, train and hire as the branch grows Run appraisals, support development, and handle concerns properly when they come up Keep morale and engagement strong Keep the service tight Ensure consistent, reliable, on time delivery at every client site Stay ahead of staffing, productivity and workflow issues before clients feel them Keep client operations supplied with current procedures and training Advise clients on legislation, flexible staffing and workforce planning Manage the numbers Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the branch Keep close oversight of accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments Read financial performance and take action on variances Keep things safe and compliant Oversee site inspections, hazard identification and control measures with clients Maintain working knowledge of provincial and federal legislation and ensure the branch complies Ensure accurate and timely health and safety reporting This could be the role for you if you have: A strong business to business sales background, with a record of hitting revenue and profit targets Experience leading a team, ideally within the staffing and recruitment space Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and reading performance Comfort in a service driven business, where delivery matters as much as the original sale Sound judgement on strategic and budgetary planning Excellent verbal and written communication Solid working knowledge of Microsoft programs What We Offer An established, high performing team Health, dental and vision coverage Pension Hybrid working, with weekly time in the office The structure of a national brand behind you, with targets, systems and frameworks already built About Drake International Founded in 1951, Drake International is a global talent and workforce solutions company with 70+ offices across 16 countries.
