In addition, over 40,000 students enroll in the board’s Adult and Continuing Education Programs each year. Candidates Will Possess The Following QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Successful completion of Ontario School Principal Qualifications Course Part I and II Completion of Religious Education Specialist Principal applicants should have at least 7 years’ successful teaching experience with at least one year as a Vice-Principal – preference will be given to candidates who have three (3) years’ experience as a Vice-Principal Experience in both school and Board-wide activities Experience in a variety of settings is preferred Leadership Practises Should Include Setting directions Building relationships and developing people Developing the organization to support desired practices Improving the instructional program Securing accountability Please Include In Your Application The Following Resume, not more than 4 pages in length Copies of all qualifications (Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualifications, The Catholic Pastoral Reference Form for a Leadership Position must be completed by the applicant’s home parish priest within the last 12 months) Two letters of reference dated within the last 12 months; one of which must be from your current Supervisory Officer. Requirements
Applicants must have completed Ontario School Principal Qualifications Course Parts I and II and a Religious Education Specialist qualification. They should have at least seven years of successful teaching experience, including at least one year as a Vice-Principal; three years as a Vice-Principal is preferred, along with experience in school and Board-wide activities.
