Assess students and provide consultation and direct support to promote development in speech, language, literacy, social communication, and augmentative or alternative communication. Work under the direction of Special Education and Learning Services leadership across multiple school locations.

Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide short-term counselling and interventions to students and families addressing social, emotional, behavioural, attendance, and mental health needs. Collaborate with school teams and community agencies on case management, referrals, attendance support, capacity building, and accurate student records.

Maintain and troubleshoot the Board’s LAN, WAN, wireless networks, internet connections, data centre equipment, and telecommunications systems. Monitor network tickets and alarms, maintain technical records and documentation, support infrastructure deployments and construction projects, and coordinate work with contractors and Board staff.

Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver play- and inquiry-based Kindergarten learning that supports children’s holistic development and diverse needs. Assess and document student progress, maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment, communicate with families, and provide supervision and care.
