Advertised Compensation: $64,000-$72,000 CAD + Bonus This Operations Product Manager (Buyer) Position Is For You, If You Enjoy: · As a Product Manager you are accountable for planning, monitoring, and maximizing retail budgets, always guarantee product availability and to ensure the visual standards of the merchandise are in line with the company expectations · Resposible for both Hudson and Duty Free categories. · Working onsite at the Calgary International Airport Your Team is counting on you as an Operations Product Manager (Buyer) to: · Provide flexibility to work any shift, any day of the week, including weekends & holidays · Work a full-time schedule Operations Product Manager (Buyer) Job Responsibilities: · Analyze Category and Brand Performance, on weekly and monthly basis · Confirm the correct implementation of pricing, policies, and advertising spaces · Coordinate the implementation of the promotional plan. For those periods without a central promotion, proposes and coordinates with category managers/ procurement the negotiation with local, promotional and submit them to the General Manager for approval. · Work closely with brand vendors to optimize stock opportunities and organize newness into the categories. · Receive suppliers and vendors into the shops and accompany them during their visit, ensuring an effective working relationship. · Follow up on promotions, implementation (stock availabilities, marketing, material, and tastings). · Ensure the correct execution of marketing strategies and visual merchandising guidelines. · Responsible for reporting item/ assortment management issues that linked to central Master Data · Establish & develop an effective relationship with our Brand partners in-store to maximize category performance and potential business opportunities, including working with brands to secure additional funding and optimization of cover. In conjunction with space planning, ensure defined planograms are adhered to ensuring effective application and review of all H&S, risk and compliance policies relevant for location. Required Qualifications: · Bachelors Degree in Business · 5 years of commercial experience with at least 2 year in managament role. · Knowledge of effective merchandising presentation standards · Understanding of travel retail concepts · Abilities to work with systems, spreadsheets and analyze stock predictions to ensure sufficient stock levels. · Leadership qualities and demonstrated organizational skills. · Demonstrated ability to build effective teams. · Excellent time-management skills and problem-solving abilities. · Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with diverse personalities. · Ability to multi-task.
