Role Description The Plumber role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Winnipeg Metropolitan Area. The Plumber will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and piping for commercial and industrial projects, following blueprints, specifications, and local codes. Daily tasks include troubleshooting plumbing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that all installations meet safety and quality standards. The role involves working with project teams, coordinating with other trades, and communicating with site supervisors and clients as needed. The Plumber will also maintain tools and equipment, complete job documentation, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment. Qualifications Strong skills in plumbing installation and repair for commercial and industrial systems. Experience working with pipes, fittings, and related materials, including cutting, threading, and assembly. Ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. Commitment to high-quality customer service and professional communication on job sites. Valid trade certification or apprenticeship as a Plumber (or equivalent), and knowledge of local building codes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working in varied environments. Reliable transportation to job sites within the Greater Winnipeg Metropolitan Area. Strong safety awareness and adherence to company and regulatory safety standards.
