Our client, a rapidly growing tech company, is seeking a driven and adaptable Senior Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent CPA or someone in the final stages of the program with 3 plus years of Accounting experience. You'll take ownership of key accounting functions, tackle complex challenges, and play a crucial role in transitioning to new systems and improving manual processes. You'll work closely with the Assistant Controller, FP&A, sales. engineering and HR, contributing to a collaborative and expanding team. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis during month-end close. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with ASPE. Liaise with external auditors, providing necessary documentation. Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, systems, and controls, with a focus on transitioning from QuickBooks to NetSuite. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, development, FP&A, and HR. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. CPA designation or actively pursuing it. Strong technical accounting skills, with experience in complex inventory accounting (especially untraditional service-based models) and deferred revenue. Adaptability and a willingness to embrace change in a rapidly growing company. Proficiency in AI for productive use and efficiency is expected. Experience with NetSuite is a plus but not required A mix of public accounting firm and industry experience is ideal.
