You as a Dishwasher will: JOB SUMMARY As a member of the Food Services team, the Dishwasher/Porter will be responsible for dish room duties, transportation of meal carts to and from units, assigned cleaning and sanitation of departmental equipment and other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS * Grade 12 or equivalent * Ability to fluently read, write speak and follow written and oral instruction in the English language. * One (1) year food services experience, preferably in a health care environment * Knowledge of food service sanitation standards and infection control practices * Minimum of Food Safe Basic Level (current) * Ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time * Ability to perform repetitive activities such as lifting (up to 11-22 lbs), reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and walking as required * Must be able to pass a physical assessment * Must be able to work where exposed to infection, blood/human waste, odors and work interruptions * Ability to process information, organize and prioritize tasks * Ability to work without direct supervision in a team environment * Adheres to EllisDon uniform and footwear policy Is this the right role for you?
