As Finance Manager, you will Provide leadership, accounting and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all group policies, legislative requirements and financial reporting standards. Support the senior executive team by demonstrating strong financial expertise and professional advice in planning, financial management, budget development, forecasting and reporting. Provide financial insights and analyses to support strategic decision-making. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including margin and variance reporting. Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycle, providing rolling forecasts and scenario analysis. Monitor cash flow, treasury and working capital to ensure strong liquidity and financial health. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits and external reporting requirements for locations in Canada, USA and offshore. Oversee and assist accounting employees, processes and activities in accounts payables, accounts receivables and data entry functions. Instill a positive, motivated work environment. Gain proficiency in utilizing and optimizing the use of the financial ERP software system. Collaborate with and build strong relationships with other leaders and managers. Serve as a strong representative of the organization, as one of the operating companies reporting to the corporate executive team. Develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the internal workings of the organization and departments to support and contribute to new ideas, plans and business strategies. Demonstrate exemplary management, team and relationship building skills. Build and maintain positive relationships with bank representatives, accounting firms, valuations firms, tax authorities, legal representatives and lawyers, government agencies, sales representatives, customers and suppliers. Travel occasionally to other company locations The selected applicant will bring: EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An equivalent combination of skills and experience will be considered. CPA designation, or active progress toward CPA is strongly preferred. Strong analytical skills and motivated to produce high quality work. EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in a Controller, Finance Manager or senior Finance role, preferably within the manufacturing, industrial services and/or equipment supply sectors. Strong working knowledge of Canadian financial reporting standards, i.e. ASPE or IFRS, CRA tax compliance, Canadian and U.S. payroll and USA state tax filing compliance. COMPUTER/TECHNICAL Hands on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is requested, with a CPA designation or progress toward one strongly preferred. Candidates should have at least five years of senior finance experience, knowledge of Canadian reporting standards and Canadian and U.S. tax and payroll compliance, and hands-on ERP and advanced Excel experience.
